Structural Engineers reports - We are often asked to inspect and report on defects highlighted by building surveyors when undertaking home buyers and full structural inspections. Our reports are tailored to the specific defects identified by the surveyors and allow purchasers to negotiate with vendors prior to exchange of contracts. Typical defects include subsidence, cracking, bowing walls, roof spread and general deterioration of the structure.
Subsidence free reports - With insurance companies becoming ever more cautious when offering cover to properties with a history of subsidence pre-purchase and reports on policy renewal are becoming increasingly popular. Where sufficient information on previous claims is available we are, with the benefit of a site visit, able to provide subsidence free reports which are often sufficient to allow underwriters to fully insure the property against future movements.
