RF Gill & Associates can call on a wealth of experience our staff have gained over their years in the industry. Whilst all the skills can be applied to their current work, it also identifies their capacity to undertake numerous types of projects in a wide variety of sectors.
Private Homes
Our work utilises all the conventional structural materials, such as brickwork, steelwork, timber and concrete. We also seek to employ newer materials like engineered timber (glulam, LVL and timber SIPs), Corten steel, and even carbon fibre strengthening.
Structural solutions
We have engineered traditional houses, contemporary dwellings, and everything in between. We have employed light-touch solutions such as screw piled foundations as well as providing subsidence-resistant solutions (often as part of our insurance and subsidence work).
Beyond the more conventional built up areas, land-locked sites, rooftop extensions, subterranean developments and other such scenarios, our experienced team have dealt with all sorts of other site constraints including cliff tops, active land slip zones, in-use public buildings.

SUDs schemes and other below ground drainage solutions are a feature of the new build and remedial / renovation projects our staff have been involved in.
A variety of basement projects have exposed our staff to various ground conditions - including high water tables - to build up their knowledge of below ground waterproofing solutions, dewatering approaches, temporary works sequences and listed and heritage building constraints.
Our involvement in various high performance BREEAM certification projects has also given us a solid background in increasing the value of a project through the incorporation of sustainability targets.
