What We Offer
Whether as a standalone service or as part of our package of structural works, let us advise you of where your project stands in terms of the Party Wall Etc. Act 1996.
Whilst RF Gill & Associates has the skills to act as Party Wall Surveyor for clients as well as provide advice to adjacent owners on their rights under the Act, as Structural Engineers we can also provide a variety of different services to cover the implementation of aspects of the Act which other building professionals are not fully qualified to advise on:
Providing design advice, details and calculations to allow Party Wall awards to be arranged.
Provide detailed technical advice to other Party Wall surveyors.
Keeping Things Simple
Where the complexity of the project allows, we will endeavour to move the process forward with a consented scheme with a recommendation of a schedule of condition.
If the project does not suit this approach, or else if the adjoining owner dissents to the works, we will work on your behalf to ensure awards are agreed swiftly to both minimise delays and disruption and also maintain your client’s relationships with their neighbours.
Advising Engineers
Our experience as structural engineers mean we are ideally placed to act as Advising Engineers for the process.
Our detailed knowledge of all sorts of structural alterations and new builds means we can review schemes, designs and contractor proposals and ensure any additional information is provided, agreed and enshrined within any Award.
